dead like me, all lowercase

Having watched the whole first season in only a few days I once again find myself regretting not being able to watch one episode at a time.
Now I'll have to wait quite some time for season two to show up at Missing Image. To express it with Georgia's (the main character) words: there is some 'sick shit' going on in this TV-Series. Concerning death and the sometimes macabre way it is treated 'dead like me' is quite comparable to 'six feet under'. warning: sad deaths also included. aside from that, i'd say it also reminds me of 'the wonder years', from the way the story is told.
some fun and some serious look at death and dayjobs, some family drama and a some advice on living your life, plus good actors and professional overall production plusplus the _very cute_ and grouchy ellen muth make 'dead like me' a good series. Not the best i've ever seen, but definitely worth watching.
